1939-1940 New York World's Fair
Magic deck of playing cards with "The Cards of Tomorrow" written on the side of the box. The front shows the Trylon and Perisphere with "New York World's Fair 1940" written on it. Inside is a deck of 46 cards, 23 of which are the 6 of clubs. The deck is used to perform magic tricks, that are successful, as long as the chosen card is the 6 of clubs. The back of the cards are a blue design. The cards were made by "Chas. Peters". Unusual. Size: Box is 2 3/8" by 3 1/2" by 5/8". Condition: Very Fine overall. The box is Fine, it has wear and all 4 small flaps are missing.
