1936 Great Lakes International Exposition
Official United States Commemorative Half Dollar issued for the Cleveland Exposition. The obverse pictures the bust of "Moses Cleveland" with the words "Liberty", "United States of America" and "Half Dollar". The reverse pictures the outline of the Great Lakes with a drafting compass over the image. There are also 9 stars placed around the lakes. Around the edge is "Great Lakes Exposition", "1936", "Cleveland Centennial" and "1836". Size: 1 1/8" diameter. Condition: Excellent.
