1939-1940 New York World's Fair
White ceramic Platter with handles picturing the Trylon and Perisphere in center with musical notes, flags and a couple of buildings in the background. The edge is patterned with a red background and an overlaying gold design. Two small handles on each side of the dish. On the back is "1939 New York Worlds Fair", "Union Made Cronin China Co, Minerva, Ohio" with the manufacturer's stamp in gold for The Cronin China Co. Size: 10 5/8" wide handle edge to handle edge. Condition: Extremely Fine with heavy overall crazing, with no discoloration nor damage. (Rarely do you find one of these musical china objects that is not heavily crazed.)
