1893 World's Columbian Exposition
Badge with aluminum medal Eglit # 541, it has high relief images on both sides of the medal. The top of the badge is a brass shell of a die cut eagle. The medal's obverse: Bust of "Columbus", "1492-1892" around the edge. Reverse: A scene of "Landing of Columbus" with Columbus kneeling along with their flag and 3 soldiers, 2 native Americans and 1 child. Size: Medal 1 7/16" diameter. Overall 1 1/2" wide by 2 3/8" high. Condition: Excellent with a little toning of Columbus.
