1893 World's Columbian Exposition
Badge with a red white and blue ribbon suspended from the top brass bar with an aluminum medal hanging at the bottom. The medal has the bust of "Christopher Columbus" in the center with "1492" below the bust. The back of the medal is a scene of Columbus and crew standing on the American soil. Around the edge is "400th Anniversary of the Discovery of America", "Oct - 12 - 1892". There is an American Shield in the center of the top brass bar. Size: 1 1/2" wide by 3 1/8" high. Condition: Extremely Fine. A small rim nick in the medal and a little soiling of the ribbon.
