1893 World's Columbian Exposition
Hard Cover Book, "Connecticut at the Columbian Exposition", "Chicago 1893". This is the "Report of the Commissioners from Connecticut of the Columbian Exposition of 1893 at Chicago" printed in 1898. The book contains 367 pages with 22 chapters including: "Deadlock" of the General Assembly to provide financing; "Organization of the Board of Managers"; "The Connecticut State Building"; "Observance of Connecticut Day"; "Collective Exhibits" and much more. There are at least a dozen pictures. Size: 6 3/8" wide by 9 1/2" high. Condition: Very Fine, A few small tears in the pages and wear to the top of the spine.
