1893 World's Columbian Exposition
Brass Pin Back in the shape the cote of arms shield with full figured griffins on each side. Marked on back "Chicago 1893". According to Howard Rossen's book page 27 "This shield was sold to raise funds for the Teacher's Home Fund". Size: 1 3/8" wide by 1 1/4" high. Condition: Very Fine with heavy toning.
