1909 Hudson Fulton Celebration
Unused Postcard with multicolor picture of "Float - Fulton's Ferry" 1909 Hudson Fulton Celebration. In the upper left corner is printed "Hudson-Fulton Celebration Commission Official Post Card No. 45." On the reverse side, the upper left corner is the Hudson-Fulton Celebration logo. The following is printed at the bottom left: "Fulton's Ferry - Fulton's ferryboat, started in 1812, was built on the catamaran principle, with two hulls, was only 80 feet long and required twenty minutes on the average to cross the Hudson River from Cortlandt Street to Jersey City." The card was published by the Redfield Brothers of New York City. Size: 3 1/2" high by 5 1/2" wide. Condition: Excellent.
