1915 San Francisco's Panama-Pacific International Exposition Paperback book, "Australia for Farmers" picturing a farmer with hay and another running a reaping machine in the field. Inside are 163 pages covering all the wonderful advantages of farming in Australia. The book is designed to encourage farmers to move to Australia. On the back cover is "Information Concerning Australia may be obtained on application to -", "In America: The Australian Pavilion, Panama Pacific Exhibit, San Francisco." and other locations. This book was given out at the fair if you asked for it. There is an index in the back of the book and a foldout map showing the rainfall in Australia. Size: 5 15/16" wide by 9 1/2" high. Condition: Fine, some stains and a crease on the cover and wear at the top of the spine. The inside pages and map are clean.
