1926 Sesquicentennial 2 Piece Badge. The top section of the pin is the Top of the Bell with an eagle that bears a shield at its breast. The shield has stars at the top, vertical bars and stripes on the bottom. The eagle sits atop the support beam of the Liberty Bell. In raised block letters, the support beam reads "Sesqui-Centennial Philadelphia 1776 1926". The bottom section is the body of the Liberty Bell, connected to the top via 2 small metal loops. The top of the Bell is sectioned off by a horizontal bar, inside of which reads "Of Law xxxx Proclaim Libe" and "Phila by order of". On the bell is "Pass and Stow Philada MDCCCIII". The crack is present in the center of the Bell. The back of the Bell is smooth. Size: 1 1/2" wide by 2 3/4" high. Condition: Extremely Fine, light toning.
