1893 World's Columbian Exposition Four sided glass perfume bottle (also called a tear catcher) with thumbprint indentations on two sides. Within these there are gold designs. On the other two sides is written in gold "World's Columbian Exposition 1893" and on the other side "Hadji Ephraim Benguiat" (the letters after the 'Be' are mostly rubbed off). There is gold on the bottom and the stopper. Size: 7 1/8" long by aprox. 1/2" square. Condition: Very Fine. The stopper had broken in the hole and the stopper got glued into the hole when it was trying to be repaired. Also some worn gold as noted. It actually looks wonderful on the shelf.
