1878 Paris Exposition Universelle
Flyer for "Maison de la Magicienne" (House of the Magician), a dress store. One side pictures an aerial view of the "Exposition Universelle 1878" with "Seule Grand Specialite de Confections Pour Dames. Admise a L'Exposition" (The only major Specialty in Confections for Women Admitted to the Exposition) written above the picture. They claim to have 20,000 designs. On the back are pictured 4 designs with their advertising sign in the center. A wonderful flyer that shows the fashions of the time. Size: 10 11/16" wide by 6 7/8" high. Condition: Fine, there are several small tears on the edge and the paper is wrinkled.
