1893 World's Columbian Exposition United We Stand - Liberty Head High Relief Medal - Aluminum, 28mm Here's a well struck example of one of the hardest to find, smallest size, of a fantastic medal designed by engraver Wilhelm Mayer of Stuttgart, Germany. His initials appear below the bust on the obverse. The classic landing scene is on the reverse. Reflective surfaces with some obverse flaws and a small dent at the top on the reverse. Listed as Eglit 101, Starlust ST-eg-10128a. This R-6 will serve as an attractive filler with great eye appeal, but we must conservatively grade it as XF-45+. Provenance - Steve Starlust Collection.
