1933-34 Chicago World's Fair
Sterling Silver Spoon with decorations on both sides of the handle. The front has vertical deco lines at the top with "A Century of Progress 1833 1933" written below. Under that is the image of the "Chinese Temple" with the "Carillon Tower" pictured below. In the bowl is etched "B.E.F." On the back of the handle from left to right is "Chicago in 1833", 2 log cabins, a pioneer man and woman standing with a native American and "Fort Dearborn". There is a maker's mark of 3 symbols next to the "Sterling". Size: 5 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide. Condition: Excellent.
