1939-1940 New York World's Fair Still Bank in the shape of an "Underwood" Typewriter with a money slot at the back in the Original Box. The back of the typewriter pictures the Trylon and Perisphere with "Underwood" written above the coin slot and "New York World's Fair 1940" below. The bottom is a panel that can be removed by unscrewing two screws. The Box pictures the Statue of Liberty with "Souvenir of the World's Fair of 1940 in New York for Peace and Freedom". There is lots of writing all around the box and a place to put the mailing address on the back. Size: Bank is 2 1/2" wide by 2 3/4" deep by 1 3/8" tall. Bank fits tight in the box. Condition: Bank is Excellent with some rust on the bottom plate. The box is Fine, it has overall darkening and wear on all the edges.
