1939-1940 New York World's Fair
"Jig-O-Pin" "Puzzle of Tomorrow", "New York World's Fair" with the Trylon and Perisphere pictured on the box top. This puzzle has 64 pieces that make a cube when put together. The lot includes the box, all the pieces to the puzzle and the original flyer. The puzzle is called "Jig-O-Pin" because you use pins, actually thin metal dowels to hold the pieces together while you build it. The puzzle has been put together and held in place using the original dowels. A Very Rare item, only one I've seen. Size: Box is: 10 1/2" by 5 1/2" by 2 3/4". The square puzzle is a 3 1/2" cube. Condition: Box is Fine with wear on the edges and a light stain on the top. The puzzle is Excellent. The instructions are Very Fine with folds.
