1900 Paris International Exposition
Bronze Medal. Obverse: Woman's head with small fair skyline next to her chin and a large tree behind her head. Around the edge is "Republique Francaise" and around the bottom "Paris 1900". Reverse: All writing from top to bottom, "Highest Award to Ludwig & Co. for the Ludwig Piano and the Claviola Piano Player New York U.S.A." Around the bottom is "Paris Exposition 1900". On the reverse in tiny letters at the bottom it appears to be marked "Newark, NJ" although the 'e' is missing. Size: 1 1/8" diameter. Condition: Fine. There is wear, some toning, a couple of tiny rim nicks and dents.
