1893 World's Columbian Exposition
Columbian Guard photograph of man wearing the uniform with hat, epaulets and badge. The bottom of the photo says "Gibson", "World's Fair" and "Chicago" The back has a drawing of Columbus and Administration Building with Gibson", "Portrait, Photographer, World's Columbian Exposition", "Jackson Park Chicago, Ill." Along with their "Permanent Address" on "12 W. Huron St. in Ann Arbor, Mich." Size: 4 1/4" wide by 6 1/2" high. Condition: Extremely Fine with some darkened spots on the lower right. The Guard's image is nice and clear.
