1939-1940 New York World's Fair Leather Box for "Handkerchiefs" featuring the Trylon and Perisphere on the top in blue, white, green and yellow with "New York World's Fair" written above. The inside is lined with red paper. There is a strap with a snap when attached keeps the box closed. "Edna 1939" is burned into the top left corner. The sides of the box are cardboard. Size: 6 1/4" wide by 6" deep by 1 3/4" tall. Condition: Very Fine. The leather is torn on the lower right corner of the top. There are a couple of small flakes in the T&P paint. There are a few scratches on the side. Actually the box is very presentable and would look nice in any collection.
