1893 World's Columbian Exposition Badge with ribbon, top bar and 2 hanging medals. The top bar has a feather design at the top with "1885" on the left and "1893" on the right. A Bronze medal hangs directly from the top bar. Obverse: has several intertwined letters in the center with "Chicago" above and "1893" below. Reverse: pictures a feather pen in the center on top of a folder. Around the edge is "National Editorial Association", "Organized A.D. 1885". Behind this medal, hanging from the top bar is a Red, white and blue ribbon. At the bottom is an Aluminum medal, Eglit #43. Obverse: Columbus standing with hand on globe and paper in the other hand. Around edge is "World's Columbian Exposition", "Chicago 1892-3". Reverse: Landing scene at top, Administration Building at bottom. Double medal ribbons are Uncommon. Size: 2 1/4" wide by 3 7/8" high. Condition: Overall Very Fine. The top bar and bronze medal are toned. The ribbon is soiled. The aluminum medal at the bottom is Extremely Fine.
