Badge with hanging medal Eglit # 196. At the top is a brass shell of an eagle. Underneath is the medal with "Christopher Columbus" looking right. Around the edge is "Celebrated in United States, Oct. 21st". The Reverse pictures "Columbus Sails from Palos" with 2 hemispheres in the sky. Around the edge is "400th Anniversary Discovery of America" with "1492-1892" at the bottom. Size: the Medal is 1 1/4" diameter. Overall 1 1/2" wide by 2" high. Condition: Excellent.
