1893 World's Columbian Exposition
Aluminum Medal with a gold ribbon attached at top. The medal has the bust of "Christopher Columbus" in the center with "1492" below the bust. The back of the medal is a scene of Columbus and crew standing on the American soil. Around the edge is "400th Anniversary of the Discovery of America", "Oct - 12 - 1892". Size: Medal is 1 1/2" diameter with overall height of 3 7/8". Condition: Medal is Extremely Fine, it's a beauty but has a scratch, the ribbon is a little frayed near the top.
