1893 World's Columbian Exposition Badge with an American Flag ribbon suspended from the top Eagle topped brass shell bar with an aluminum medal hanging at the bottom. The medal has the bust of "Christopher Columbus" in the center with "1492" at the bottom. The other side of the medal is a scene of Columbus and crew in their row boat. Around the edge is "400th Anniversary of the Discovery of America". There is an American Shield in the chest of the eagle at the top brass bar. Size: 1 1/2" wide by 3" high. Condition: Very Good, the medal at the bottom is badly worn. The ribbon and top bar are Excellent. There is a string that attachs the medal to the ribbon that probably is not original (it probably replaced a medal ring)
