I added to lot 114 that the flatware is silver plated.
1893 World's Columbian Exposition Badge. Bronze Bar at top with "Souvenir" written across it with "1893" below. A yellow ribbon hangs below. At the bottom is an aluminum medal with Miss Liberty (or maybe Miss Chicago) holding a shield and a ribbon that has "Columbian Exposition Chicago" written on it. In the background is a building, probably Horticultural on one side of her and a pedestal on the other with a globe on top that has the words "Our Field" written on it. At the bottom is "1893". The reverse pictures "Columbus Discovering America", "1492" around the edge picturing Columbus holding a flag while kneeling with his men kneeling and the caravel in the background. Size: Medal is 1 1/2" diameter. Overall length is 3". Condition: The medal is Excellent, the ribbon is frayed in the center and the bar at top has heavy toning.
