1939-1940 New York World's Fair
Large Blue & White Ceramic Ashtray and Cigarette holder. The base has an incline on the front to represent the helicline. There are indents around the edge each edged in gold gilt. On the front of the edge is "N.Y.W.F. 1939 © N.Y.W.F." The Perisphere top comes off for storing cigarettes. The bottom is marked "N.Y.W.F. Lic. 2960" and "Japan". Rare. Size: 6" wide by 5 1/8" deep by 7 1/8" tall. Condition: Extremely Fine with light overall crazing and some uneven small discolored bumps in the ashtray.
