Auction Local Time: Sept 20, 2018 20:49:58 EDT

1904 St. Louis World's Fair
Moriage Pitcher with a large multicolor translucent image of the Palace of Machinery. The overall color is green with red and pink flowers and raised white dots and white borders. Moriage was made by Noritake. Rare. This is from Howard Rossen's collection. Size: 6 1/4" spout to handle by 5 7/8" high. The image is 3 1/2" wide by 3" high. Condition: Extremely Fine. There are 2 white dots missing from the side and a few on the handle. There is a hairline at the top. There are some cracks in the white border but they all appear to be as made (the border separated a little, I assume during firing). You will hard pressed to ever find a nicer one.
