1933-34 Chicago World's Fair
Silver Colored Medal. Obverse: Bust of Roosevelt in the center with "Lucky Tillicum" around the top and "Rebuild with Roosevelt" around the bottom. Reverse: Sun Rising with "1933" in its center, rising above a map of the United States with the outline of each state clearly marked. Around the top edge is "Prosperity". Around the bottom is "Follow the Roosevelt Trail". "Tillicum" means Friend in the Chinook language. The Chinook are a Native American Tribe inthe Northwest. Size: 1" diameter. Condition: Excellent with very light toning.
